As part of the Software Engineering team, you will have various opportunities and responsibilities to design, develop, troubleshoot, debug, and lead software development solutions in a variety of platforms. Tasks involve the needs to specify, design, and implement small, modest, as well as large and complex changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

You must be capable of providing technical leadership to other software developers. An excellent verbal and written ability to effectively communicate and negotiate deliverables, deadlines, and resources is a must. Independent judgement is needed, duties and tasks are varied and complex.

 

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or closely related field
• 4 years of professional experience in software development
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent teamwork and resource sharing skills
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with modern programming languages such as Java, C#, JavaScript
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and/or distributed systems
• Proven experience with enterprise web applications software development
• Strong customer focus, ownership, urgency and drive.

 

Preferred Job Qualifications

• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, test-driven development.
• Experience with cloud-based development\: any of AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, Oracle Cloud.
• Experience working with Oracle Technologies\: Database, SQL, PL/SQL.
• Experience writing and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Proficiency with Node.js-based Rich Internet Application (RIA) development.
• Strong front-end development skills in working with AngularJS, React, Vue.js
• Proven experience with CI/CD (Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery).
• Experience working with Docker Containers, Kubernetes, Swarm.

 

!|!Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
