Description

Reporting to top managements, the General Manager for the forwarding division will be responsible for overall management activities, including sales, operations, profits and loss as well as the risk control. The team size will be over 100 headcounts from these departments. This person will need to lead this team and develop and implement business strategies to achieve long-term and short-term organisational objectives. In order to achieve sales target and maintain good sales relationship with existing customers, this person is also expected to explore and identify new market opportunities.

Profile

The ideal candidate will have minimum 8 years of sales and/or operations experience in logistics and forwarding industry with at least 3 years of senior management experience. Strong business acumen and commercial awareness with ability to create business strategies and progress management will be crucial. Excellent leadership with good interpersonal and negotiation skills is a must. Knowledge of warehouse and forwarding is highly preferred. This candidate needs to be fluent in written & spoken English and Chinese, knowledge in Japanese is an advantage.
