WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Leads all business activities of the Region China from an operative and strategic point of view to achieve planned performance goals
• Represents the Region China of the Division Mechatronics globally through active participation on management Review meetings
• Develops and executes the Division Mechatronics China Strategy to ensure all regional targets are met on a short and long term planning period. Runs and supervises activities within the matrix organization
• Leads and coaches the Mechatronics management team in China in collaboration with all Mechatronics functions
• Representatives the Division Mechatronics in China to the external marketplace and governmental community to ensure a strong company image
• Leads important strategic projects in the region China for the Division Mechatronics like M&A activities. Proactively partners with all respective functions (Mechatronics, Rheinmetall Automotive, Rheinmetall Holding) to ensure objectives are met. Monitors progress, sets and supervises appropriate corrective actions
• Ensures a culture of profitable growth and sustainable success according to the Mechatronics Leadership Principles
• Demonstrates a strong leadership style, motivates and actively develops people in the region China to ensure required skills and competencies are available for current and future business challenges
• Establishes and further develops the advanced engineering activities within the region to build up strong competency profile regarding e-mobility

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

• Master in mechanical / electrical engineering or comparable technical degree or Master in economics / business Administration
• At minimum 10 years of international experience in a senior management position within the automotive industry
• Experience as a General Manager being responsible for larger operation sites or comparable global role in a complex, international industry environment
• Experience in strategy development, M&A, post merger integration
• Excellent comprehension of holistic entrepreneurial correlations
• Ability to establish credibility and be decisive but be able to recognize and support the organization´s preferences and priorities
• Self driven, reliable and inspiring personality
