Your new responsibilities In this position you are leading the global R&D Project Portfolio team for Automation by being an inspirational leader who motivates and engages people, thereby enabling them to deliver excellent results. You manage and develop actively the product and technology portfolio of BP in line with our strategy You lead the global R&D Project Portfolio of Automation which includes the portfolios of Building Automation, Equipment Automation, Combustion Control as well as the portfolio of Future of Automation You embrace and transform technological innovations into our daily operations. Furthermore, you ensure our high product quality, their market availability and customer satisfaction. You monitor the progress of projects together with the R&D managers and the project leaders, providing direction and course correction as necessary to meet budget and schedule requirements You collaborate very closely with the global Business Segment Head and the product management, our global R&D network, our internal partners within SI and Siemens as well as external partners and suppliers. You define, plan and execute the implementation of the Automation portfolio roadmaps together with product management in an agile environment. You are responsible for budget planning, controlling and reporting of the overall portfolio You manage, coache and develop an international multi-site team of project leaders. This includes development teams China, Slovakia, India, Germany, Switzerland and US.
