This rapidly growing kids' educational media company is looking to expand its already amazing team! They design award-winning products that enrich millions of kids' learning experiences worldwide.
This position involves working closely with the CEO and education team on the development and design of their new English Language Learning ecosystem and curriculum. This position requires someone who is interested in early childhood education and is comfortable leading from the front on ELL best practices for the Chinese market.

Job Description:
• Developing a comprehensive ELL curriculum together with our linguistics adviser (Doctor in Applied Linguistics and Professor of Linguistics at the University of Pennsylvania).
• Working in close collaboration across the teams in our different area of the business: offline (learning centers, work books, offline packs etc), online (digital school, apps, videos etc).
• Work with education team to define and develop the ELL curriculum.
• Continuously strive to enrich the learning process with creative learning practices.

Background Requirements:
• Background in linguistics or related field.
• At least 6-8 years of related experience in curriculum development.
• Knowledge and understanding of content based language instruction/CLIL.
• Education: Masters/PHD with a focus towards applied linguistics/TESOL/ESL from top tier Western University.
• Creative approach to education and interlacing traditional approaches with new technologies.
• You are intrigued by kids and how they discover and learn about the world.
• Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and prioritize accordingly and create road maps for team projects.
• Ability to manage a team.
• Must have strong judgmental/analytical problem solving skills.
• Attention to detail, organized, good follow-through.
• Innovative and creative thinker.
• Experience teaching English to Chinese students.
• Proficient in Chinese (a bonus).
