Located in Vance, Alabama, the MBUSI facility is one of the most advanced automotive manufacturing facilities in the world, comprised of over 6 million square feet and currently employs over 3,800 Team Members. The MBUSI plant in Tuscaloosa is the traditional home of SUV production for the current GLE, GLE coupé, and GLS model series. Since June 2014, the plant has also produced the C-Class for the North American market. The plant in Alabama was the first major Mercedes-Benz production facility outside Germany and is regarded as the nucleus of the automotive industry in Alabama.

Essential Functions
- Support the teams with cbFC activities (SAP based controlling system)
- Optimization of financial reporting process
- Facilitation of project timelines, analysis and design
- General Administrative Tasks
- Process improvement initiatives
- Project analysis, design and implementation
Education
Student in Finance/Controlling, Business Administration or other related areas
Necessary Skills, Certifications, etc.:
- Fluent in English (oral and written)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Knowledge in SAP, Power BI and Tableau preferred, but not required
- Ability to engage in critical thinking, analysis and reporting
Preferred Start Date
August/September 2020
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in University or in a gap year between Bachelor’s and Master’s degree
- Studies outside of the U.S.A.
- A minimum of 3 semesters of studies in relevant field of study
- Available for a minimum of 6 months
