Job Description
An opportunity to join a dynamic and successful IT & Development Operations Team, as part of a new and exciting department expansion. This position will sit between the organisations Internal IT department and the Development Operations Department, responsible for improving service delivery and project delivery from IT to Development Operations.  Reporting directly to the Global IT Director and working closely with Senior Development Managers globally.
 

Role Description.
As part of this team you will help ensure Development related projects are managed and delivered successfully, channel effective communication, and manage escalations through service delivery.  Representing IT within the Development Operation function, enabling better integration, with the primary focus of helping IT to deliver a proactive and effective service. 
 
Defines and track SLA performance, monitors and report regularly on the degree of achievement of operational readiness.
 
Responsibilities
 
·        Creates and maintains an internal catalogue of Products & Services for Development Operation
·        Formulates, agrees and maintains an appropriate SLM structure
·        Accommodates any existing Service Improvement Plans / Programs.
·        Assists the internal organization in translating SLA’s in to KPI’s for monitoring.
·        Analyses and reviews service performance against the SLAs and associated KPI’s.
·        Produces regular reports on service performance and achievements
·        Conducts annual reviews of the entire Service Level process and negotiates, agrees and controls any amendments necessary.
 
Required Skills
 
·        Strong knowledge of ITIL v2 or v3.
·        Technical background in IT and/or Development related domain
·        Experience or desire to grow in (technical) project management (Prince 2 is a plus)
·        Communication skills to drive the conversation on both operational as well as on tactical level
·        Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
·        Good administrative skills.
·        The ability to interact successfully with all levels within the organization.
·        Reasonable technical understanding and an ability to translate technical requirements and specifications into easily understood business concepts and vice versa.
·        Innovative in respect of service quality and ways in which it can be improved within the bounds of the organization’s limits (resources, budget, legal etc.).
·        A good listener with the ability to apply the knowledge gained effectively.
