Responsibilities:
ITS manages Proof-of-Concept projects, supports bench-marking and product evaluation on customer side, makes PoCs and Demos, presents technical materials, delivers training and publishes white papers
ITS collaborates with partners (Multi-National Corporations, Original Equipment Manufacturers, System Integrator, Independent Software Vendors and other ecosystem players) to bring max Intel value to the business. Knows partners' product lines and business and articulates Intel value in front of competition
As a trusted technical adviser, ITS engages technical decision makers to drive awareness and early adoption of new Intel technologies, platforms and products
The ITS will also be expected to meet or exceed annual quota of Deal Wins and be seen and perceived as a trusted advisor by key stakeholders at the covered customers.

Qualifications

- Bachelor or Master Degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering/Computer Science related technical field with minimum of 5+ years of relevant software engineering (service providers), infrastructure operation (service providers) or technical solution sales (vendor) experience.

- Strongly position self and Intel as the trusted advisor in solving challenging technical and business problems.

- This person must be also self-motivated, self-sufficient with ability to stay current on emerging industry trends, technologies, and issues with CSPs and Internet companies. A strong knowledge of computer and communications industry technical solutions.

- Must possess engineering background and understand infrastructure at an architectural level including server, storage and networking platforms. The role requires a strong working knowledge of virtualization and cloud principles.

- Working knowledge on open source software commonly used by CSPs and Internet Companies such as NGINX, HAProxy, Memcache, KVM, docker, K8S, Ceph, MySQL, MongoDB, Hadoop, Spark, Redis etc.

- Working knowledge on operating systems (Linux) from demo setup/benchmarking, performance tuning kernel & driver upgrade / issue diagnostics perspectives.

- Experience on specifying Compute, Storage, and Network hardware platforms based upon workload dimensioning, sizing and performance characterization

- Experience on software design and development methodologies & tools. Ability to make recommendation on software optimizations based on workload requirements, effectively  will be crucial competitive advantage.

- Experience and knowledge on commonly used machine learning / deep learning frameworks is plus, ability to deploy a small scale pilot for technology demonstration will be crucial competitive advantage.

- Good at written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English.
