Sales Development Representative

 

 

Location: Remote work available for qualified candidates

 

Position Summary:

Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) are responsible for developing Sales Qualified Leads (SQL’s) to be handed over to Sales Engineers.  It is the key position to begin creating a relationship with a net new logo that is necessary in filling the sales funnel and creating the highest possible customer satisfaction rates as they are almost always the first point of contact with a prospect or customer.

SDRs will report to the SDR Manager. This position is critical to tapping into the new accounts, markets and industries where Bentley doesn’t have a current footprint. 

 

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Effectively manage inbound lead flow as well as executing outbound prospecting initiatives in conjunction with the PSE group.
  • Operate and manage the company webchat to achieve customer satisfaction and successfully convert prospects to SQL’s
  • Expertly use LinkedIn and other social media means to engage prospects.
  • Utilize various lead tools, market reports, and industry lists for mining accounts, contacts, and projects to engage in targeted sales campaigns.
  • Work in collaboration with Digital Marketing to develop targeted marketing tactics
  • Run multi-touch email and call campaigns to engage with new prospects.
  • Qualify leads per the defined Sales Qualified Lead (SQL) criteria, and handoff to the appropriate Sales colleague once an SQL is achieved.
  • Diligently record all activities in HubSpot
  • Recruit and drive attendance of new prospects and leads to various events.
  • Learn and follow a Sales Process.

 

What You Bring to The Team:

  • 1 to 2 years of previous sales or cold-calling experience.
  • Experience in conducting cold calling, sales campaigns, email marketing, or a desire to learn and compete.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively present written and verbal information to users and prospects via phone and email.
  • Excellent collaboration skills with various internal teams.
  • Technically adept, self-motivated and driven by results.
  • Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer. The role requires communication with managers, peers, and other colleagues of the company in person (on occasion), and by utilizing Microsoft Teams chat, calling and meeting functions.
  • This role does not require travel.
