Job Description
THE COMPANY :
- We operate in asset management, investment services, financial advisory and corporate finance to the in-house group clients, institutional clients and individual investors.
- SFC licensed holder : Type 1, 4, 6 and 9
- Mother company : a Chinese hi-tech giant group
- We are looking for LEGAL & COMPLIANCE MANAGER - with details as follows :
THE JOB :
- Fully manage the legal and compliance duties for the Company
- Draft, review, negotiate and advise agreements, legal contracts and documents;
- Provide legal advice and guideline related to asset management, private equity and corporate finance to ensure in compliance with SFC;
- Implement the compliance manual, review and update the policies and procedures periodically;
- Handle licensing issues and information requests from SFC and internal divisions;
- Carry out compliance trainings to the internal divisions and provide advice to the top management;
- Report to the CEO
- Degree holder in Law/Finance/Economics/Investment/Banking or related disciplines;
- Qualified Lawyer is highly prefer
- At least 5 years relevant experience related to Type 1, 4, 6 and 9
- Relevant experience in private equity is highly preferred;
- Experience in handling legal documents and licensing applications
- Familiar with Securities and Futures Ordinance related to RA 1, 4, 6 and 9;
- Proficient in English, Chinese and Mandarin
- 5 days work
- Office location : Admiralty
