With us, you can do something significant that benefits society and human progress Your new role – challenging and future-oriented You will be working closely with our teams in Germany & USA to perform the Layout Lead Engineering for Large Gas turbine auxiliary systems. You will have interfaces to other discipline leads and designers as well as enclosure supply & erection vendors. This position is based in Gurgaon (India) and majority of the tasks are to design new R&D projects from concept to detail design. But the role also demands support in Global Customer Order Engineering projects. Job tasks include: • Communication & Collaboration with Colleagues in Germany & USA. • Responsible for preparation of concept layout and optimizing the layouts considering erection, operation, maintenance issues. • Responsible for Layout Drawings for project specific applications. • Review, Control and Own 3D Equipment, Electrical, Fictive Maintenance rooms, Piping & Steel models. • Model Cable trays, Equipment, Foundations and steel in Open Plant Software. • Review vendor drawings as required. • Complete interface with various disciplines at all levels, Project Management, and the Client. • Resolve all Field Interference Issues. • Participate in vendor surveillance program and assist QA. • Troubleshooting We don’t need superheroes, just super minds • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering • 7 to 12 years of Piping & Supports engineering work experience • Knowledge of major components of power plants • Competent handling of 3d Software (Preferably Open Plant) • Knowledge of NFPA and explosion protection • Solid experience with working in a global team • Ability to travel in India & globally to various sites • Ability and willingness to learn new fields, • Committed to personal development and continuous improvement • High flexibility in taking new tasks/responsibilities • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Coaching & Multiplier Skills including Training We’ve got quite a lot to offer.
