YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role, Logistics Manager, are to: 

• Provide input to help shape the Transportation strategy for Consumer and Pharmaceutical divisions;
• Provide input regarding P&L and KPI variance drivers;
• Assist in team revenue recognition activities;
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve service and reduce costs;
• Assist in maintaining working relationship with third party providers;
• Analyze data in procurement events;
• Provide guidance to junior team members;
• Actively participate in green brain culture activities;
• Identify and recommend CI activates to reduce costs and improve service;
• Assist in team related projects and participate in cross functional project management;
• Understand internal and external directives and provides guidance to the team;
• Perform day to day planning activities.

Required Qualifications:

• B.S. in Business Administration with six years of experience OR Master’s degree with four years of experience;
• Experience in consumer industry;
• Expert level Excel / Data base knowledge required;
• Knowledge of Continuous Improvement methods (Six Sigma);
• Expert level Excel / Data base knowledge;
• Knowledge of Enterprise Report Planning (ERP) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS);
• Knowledge of Transportation Pricing methods required;
• Work knowledge of Transportation Law and Freight Classification;
• Be able to work well under pressure and adapt to ever changing requirements;
• Be able to make decisions quickly – with information provided;
• Be able to influence stake holders in other functional areas;
• Customer focus;
• Demonstrate analytic ability – specifically focused on procurement Events;
• Excellent communication skills.
