Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Ground Services, you are expected to adopt a hands-on approach and to help build our ground services capabilities in step with the growth of the airline.

Responsibilities

  • Formulate policies and procedures for, and design and conduct training on respective areas of ground services to ensure the operational standards are well defined and followed
  • Ensure the operational standards, policies and procedures are kept up to date and in compliance with prevailing regulatory and corporate safety requirements
  • Manage operational performance by identifying and investigating irregularities, and implementing corrective, remedial solutions
  • Implement, and review from time to time, the airline’s long-term service strategy, and establish adequate strategic and resource planning regarding ground services

Requirements

  • Holder of a relevant bachelor’s degree or above
  • A minimum of 10 years of extensive airport experience in all areas of operation and IOSA requirements, and at least 5 years of which in a managerial capacity
  • Good command of both oral and written English and Cantonese, proficiency in Putonghua an advantage
  • A team player with experience of working in cross-departmental projects
  • Leadership ability, with analytical and influencing skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Independent, self–motivated and able to work under pressure
  • Able to perform roster duty as assigned from time to time
  • Able to travel overseas extensively, as and when required
