THE COMPANY :

• A patented material, a composite and a consumer product, comprising a pulp and a fibrillated cellulose, wherein the pulp and the fibrillated cellulose are independently derived from plant fiber – this material will then be used for making food packaging products which is 100% natural and 100% degradable
• Hong Kong office : function as a research centre & prototyping workshop for making the food packaging product prototype
• Mass production : partner factories in China
• We are looking for MATERIAL ENGINEER – with details as follows :

• You will support the R&D activities.
• You will undertake a serial of duties, which required 90% practical laboratory or pilot work; with 10% office work.
• Conducting the practical laboratory work including preparation and characterisation of materials.
• Supporting the material engineers for conducting pilot scale experiment and running quality control on the products
• Assisting the material engineers to maintain the lab facilities and equipment.
• Drafting and preparing reports and other documents and presentations.
• Supporting the internal communication and off-site tests.
• Bachelor degree in material engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering or other relevant fields.
• Working experience in R&D field and in laboratories (material synthesis, processing and material tests) is considered as a plus.
• Good computer skills, e.g. MS Office software. Skills on other software are considered as a plus.
• Working in a reliable and scheduled way.
