Job Description
THE COMPANY :
- Design, develop, engineering & manufacturing
- OEM/ODM small consumer electronic product & branded writing instruments (luxury pen)
- Headquarters : HK
- Factory : Dongguan
- Main market : Asia & global
- We are looking for PROJECT ENGINEER (mechanical) – with details as follows :
THE JOB :
- Mainly handle luxury branded pen; minor in consumer electronic product
- To perform the product development and project management
- To plan and complete projects on schedule.
- To monitor the projects from design input to mass production.
- Work closely with vendors and customers in areas of feasibility study, quotation & quality assurance of products.
- Able to trouble-shooting and offer total solution in product development.
- Ensure documented and smooth transfer of projects from engineering to manufacturing.
- Tertiary education in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5 to 8 years experience in OEM/ODM product development & design experience in electronic manufacturing industry.
- Excellent knowledge in manufacturing, tooling & production work process, strong in design of plastic mould for small household products.
- Experience in high end pens/writing instruments/watch/jewellery project development will be an added value
- Able to work and prepare 2D and 3D drawing
- Knowledge in metal and plating process
- Detail minded in actualizing customer design into production
- Knowledge in Electro-plating, plastic mold and metal tool design will be an advantage.
- Strong technical experience in design, debug and problems solving, ability to communicate with all levels.
- Familiar with the using software applications such as AutoCAD and Pro-E.
- Proficient in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
- Frequent travel to Dongguan Factory and suppliers' factories.
- 5 days work
- More experience will be considered as Senior Project Engineer (mechanical)
