THE COMPANY :
- Garment manufacturer
- Guangdong factory : 2000 workers
- Vietnam factory : 1000 workers
- Main markets : US and European countries for international fashion brands, department stores, specialty stores and mail order companies
- We are looking for MERCHANDISING & PROCUREMENT ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER – with details as follows :
THE JOB :
- Effectively lead and manage the merchandising, procurement, business development, and design teams to offer professional customers services as part of monitoring the overall critical path from product development until goods delivery;
- Keep abreast of the market trend and carry out excellent customer relationship management to meet different markets' and customers' changing needs in a competitive approach;
- Set sourcing strategies in support of new and existing product development, including innovative approaches to achieve best pricing;
- Devise best-in-class and continue to on assessing and monitoring supplier capabilities in the areas of fabric and trims;
- Support business growth strategies across customer accounts by providing insights and directions on business model based on the company's strengths and dynamic global market situation.
- Set up sales and sourcing strategies and targets for different sales regions / customers / suppliers and to strive for meeting / exceeding the related KPIs;
- Diploma holder or above in Fashion / Textiles / Clothing or related disciplines
- At least 10 years' experience at managerial level in the apparel industry;
- Knowledgeable and experienced in products development and production processes
- Experience in lingerie / swimwear is highly prefer
- Experience in European / North American markets
- Proficient of written and spoken English and Chinese;
- Proficient in computer applications, such as MS Office / ERP system
- 4 days per week work in Guangdong factory
- Occasional overseas travelling required;
- 5 days work
- 13 months salary + performance bonus
