The MINI Regional Sales and Aftersales Marketing Manager will be the core of the MINI Regional Tier 2 business and the crucial link between Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 for MINI USA with strong tie and alignment to national strategic priorities. This role is dedicated to retail, tactical, aftersales marketing and is responsible for account management, sales support, aftersales support, dealer relationships, strategic planning, dealer specific marketing plans and provides a critical line of communication between the dealers and MINI USA.

The role is responsible for analyzing region specific sales and aftersales data to determine and develop strategic local and regional marketing message recommendations that enable target achievements. Providing a critical line of communication between the dealers and MINI USA you will oversee regional event planning, activation details, analytics review, budget allocations, vendor processes and report the detailed results to MINI national, the regional team and the dealer body.

They will provide on-going marketing consulting services to all dealers across the assigned region. The role will provide guidance in developing annual and quarterly marketing plans and share best practices and learnings. The Manager will build and maintain a trusted advisory relationship with the dealer body by performing in-dealership visits, teleconference and video meetings. The individual will help develop dealer specific Tier 3 marketing plans to leverage Tier 1 and Tier 2 marketing.

Additionally, they will oversee the regional MINI marketing committee, monitor competitive activity, industry trends and local market insights; partner with agency partners to develop and support dealer marketing; communicate with the National MINI team regarding local plans, dealer issues and field communication; and create and deliver reports to discuss best practices as part of retail strategy planning. 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or equivalent retail/wholesale OEM experience
  • 4 to 6 years of client service experience at an agency known for innovative, integrated creative and strategic thinking.
  • 2 to 3 years of Automotive experience is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of all media channels, including broadcast, radio, print, newspaper, billboard, social, digital, search and guerrilla programs.
  • Ability to understand, evaluate and present performance metrics and retail sale results.
  • Ability to take, initiate and lead projects with minimal supervision.
  • Proven experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.


Travel:
Up to 50% throughout the region including overnight travel.
