THE ROLE:

    Work as a silicon design engineer as part of AMD dGPU SOC group, participating in extremely high volume size chip design.

 

THE PERSON:

    • Strong problem-solving skills

    • Good written and fluent oral English

    • Good communication skill and teamwork spirit

 

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Be responsible for physical implementation following AMD physical design flow, evaluate and improve physical design quality
• Participant in critical path and logic optimization with IP and FE team
• Debug any tool bugs and unexpected results

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

 

    • 5+ years ASIC physical design experience

    • Advanced programming knowledge on Tcl, Perl

    • Requires demonstrated technical expertise in the areas of physical design methodology    and physical verification

    • Knowledge on PTPX is a plus

    •

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Master preferred
• Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
