Responsibilities:

• Perform software installation, upgrade and PTF installation in mainframe DB2
• Control and monitoring of development, UAT, production and DR systems
• Ensure infrastructure complies to group architecture and standards
• Carry out performance tuning in mainframe DB2
• Analyze system resources usage and prepare capacity plan 
• Manage and utilize system resources
• Ensure system availability and security control
• Review technologies, systems and processes for improvement
• Prepare project plan for system migration and implementation

Requirements:

• Degree holder in information technology, computer science or related discipline
• Minimum 2 years working experience in mainframe DB2 system administration
• Hands-on experience in DB2 monitoring and reporting tools
• Experience in z/OS, CICS and VTAM is an added advantage
• Excellent communication skills
• Enthusiastic and self-motivated with excellent time management skills and a strong sense of initiative
• Able to work independently and effectively in a high-pressure environment against multiple deadlines
