Director Level role

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Set-up the new Ultrasound Business Category Access & OB which will combine our strong current products and actively focus on creating new solutions to our customers. You will play a vital role within profitable business as well as competitive and top in the marketing. You are responsible for

  • Formulating the project plan, in consultation with management and other parties concerned on base of the requirements and keeping stakeholders updated.

  • Organizing the resources to be used (quality, time, allocation, budget and information) in an international setting with several disciplines, technical and non-technical.

  • Identifying the risks of the project (f.e. specs, costs, planning, etc.) and developing scenarios to overcome these risks and driving the projects to closure.

  • Building and maintaining the project organization, helps the team to organize, chooses or coaches on the way of working and selects the adequate tools (tailors the approach to the specific project) and defines the interfaces with other functions, internal and external Philips.

  • Ensures that there is an effective transfer and archiving of the project results and the associated knowledge.

  • Leading a team of project managers spread across China and India.

You are a part of

The newly formed Business Category Access & OB within Ultrasound, which will play a critical role in the future success of Ultrasound. This cross-functional team consists of different functions as Marketing, Business Development Management, Clinical Science and R&D Project Management. The team is based in Shanghai but will have very close collaboration with our colleagues around the world. You will report to the leader on Clinical and Development. This leader is based in US.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • A global mindset and proven ability to build and maintain global networks.

  • Strong people skills

  • Proven ability to build effective project teams

  • Strong background in project management within a Research and Development department

  • 10+ years of relevant working experience, owning/leading projects from idea through implementation with evidence of business impact.

  • Strong affinity IT
