This is an exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience working in a fast-paced, high-throughput, leading-edge manufacturing facility, producing products used world-wide for ensuring quality and compliance in such areas as: consumer products, pharmaceuticals, drug testing, environmental monitoring, Homeland Security, forensics, and others.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Manufacturing of products in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and cGMP guidelines at pilot and production scales.
• Provide troubleshooting and support for CSD manufacturing operations.
• Will work with process scientists and engineering to improve products, processes and components to meet agreed-upon objectives. May participate in projects to meet cost objectives and customer requirements.
• Supports and implements the transition of products and manufacturing processes from prototype to full production and through the entire life cycle of the product. Partners with procurement and technical services to improve/sustain products and processes.
• Participates in development projects requiring coordination with other functions and suppliers. Solves a broad range of problems varying in scope and complexity

This position will support the standardization of synthesis and purification processes, perform gaps analysis, propose process improvements, update work instructions and other documentation through a standardized process in order to aid manufacturing. Evaluation and troubleshooting of processes including analytical techniques.
