About Our Team Lenovo is seeking a Test and Execution Support Engineer to support Manufacturing, Supply Chain Quality/Engineering, Manufacturing Test and Development activities at the Monterrey manufacturing site. This individual will work within our Data Center Group (DCG). Lenovo's Data Center Group is innovating the future-defined data center, today.  From the simplest to the most complex IT environments for all types of workloads, our servers, storage, networking and solutions help maximize the potential of data centers. What You'll Do The successful candidate will have deep technical knowledge of server product manufacturing, test and quality  processes and will be the technical point of contact between the manufacturing site and the Global Supply Chain Engineering team. The Site Engineering and Execution Support Engineer Will work with OE, Mfg and Global Supply Chain Engineering team to drive production issues to closure. They will also use their Engineering experience to help the local team identify and debug Test process issues work with Development and external partners to schedule support activities and prepare for data collection and reporting during NPI and production. Strategically, the expectation is that the successful candidate will constantly be looking for ways to optimize and improve the overall process for supporting manufacturing operations. Travel to other manufacturing sites to provide training and support will also be required. This is a full-time position reporting to the Manager of Hyperscale Engineering and is based at Lenovo Manufacturing facility in Monterrey Mexico. This person will be responsible for: • Working with OE, Mfg and Global Supply Chain Engineering teams to drive issues to closure • Managing and track issues using the redmine tool and report status monthly. Work with the ME/TE teams to drive corrective actions/improvements • Driving critical equipment audits/checks to ensure tooling capacity at EOQ and other periods of high volume production • Interfacing with product development and Supply Chain teams to establish manufacturing requirements for products and solutions. • Collecting data logs for systems, serial traces, SEL logs, O/S logs etc • Supporting NPI builds • Reporting NPI status to Manufacturing, Development and Supply Chain teams • Performing root cause analysis, product debug, and problem resolution • Opening and managing product defects that impact fulfillment • Working with suppliers as necessary to aid with incoming quality issues. • Working with sites to Develop debug processes and procedures • Providing support for worldwide fulfillment sites **Please apply with a resume in English** #### Position Requirements: Basic Qualifications: • 5+ years in a product development/validation role or similar position • BS Degree in Engineering (Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, etc) • Experience with Intel x86, and similar server architectures Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with root cause analysis & problem resolution • Must be familiar with server management tools and methods • Operating system experience with Linux and Windows Server • Server Manufacturing Test experience required • Self-motivated team player • Able to apply engineering concepts • Effective communicator Why Lenovo?
