Job Title: Market Access Manager Slovenia
Reports to: MKA Manager Adriatic

Purpose Statement: 
Guide, coordinate, plan, and prioritize the broad area of market access capabilities to design and implement innovative market access solutions into the changing market environment while driving cross-functional teamwork placing the patient at the center of any efforts and operating within AbbVie business code of conduct, policies and all applicable laws and regulations.

Major Responsibilities:
•    Lead cross-functional task forces to elaborate key insights for new products (Ensure pricing and reimbursement regulatory procedures at national and local level are aligned with client's objectives
•    Work closely with other functions such as Medical and Commercial to build networks with key decision makers
•    Ensure close collaboration with Area and Global and maintain awareness and understanding of the impact of local affiliate marketing related decisions on AbbVie’s global business and vice versa in order to ensure Area and Global strategies and tactics are approved by the customers of the employer to maximize momentum on delivering market share growth.
Make price analysis, obtain pricing and price certificates from relevant countries for marketed products
•    Submit pricing information to related government institutions, according to the Pricing SOP and local requirements
•    Follow price regulation changes and attend official meetings related with pricing issues
•    Prepare and submit necessary information for the new registered products to the reimbursement organizations
•    Maintain and strengthen communication with Ministry of Health, NHS, government and industry associations and opinion leaders
•    Establish Health Economics expertise within the affiliate to address the growing demand for economic evaluation studies to support listing and reimbursement of Abbvie products
•    Communications: Internally - ensure that employees are aware of changes and projects within the company; Externally - represent their organization to stakeholders, interested parties and the public
•    Distribute executive messages, prepare presentations and internal memos, and conduct meetings to share information. 
•    Develop and distribute materials that may explain or convey the company's policies or position on issues.
•    Other duties as assigned by manager


Qualifications

Qualifications:
•    University degree
•    Preferably minimum 3 years of experience in regulatory/government affairs with achieving expectations
•    Extensive knowledge of the healthcare environment, including deep knowledge of payer and provider mechanisms, funding flows, and legislation affecting market access of pharmaceutical products.
•    Developed analytical skills
•    Good understanding of area healthcare systems to have an area-wide perspective for local affiliate decisions. 
•    Proven people leadership experience.
•    Slovene & English language proficiency verbally and in writing

External: National and Local Pricing and Reimbursement Bodies, HTA Bodies, Industry Associations, Global GEOR, Academic Associations
Internal: AMT Members, Brand Teams, Area Market Access, Business Unit Managers/Directors
