We seek a Marketing Manager for Dissolution Testing Products within Global Marketing in Agilent's Liquid Phase Separation Division. The role of Dissolution Testing Product Management is more important than ever in a highly competitive market where Agilent strives to even more extents it's global leadership and to join marketing activities with other product lines to be the undisputed number one in supporting our global customers in the pharmaceutical drug formulation and quality control labs.

You will report to the Associate Vice President, Head of Global LPSD Marketing. In this position you will lead a team of highly skilled Product Managers covering the entire Dissolution Testing product portfolio across workflows, instrumentation and software.

The successful candidate will help foster a highly collaborative environment across regions and functions, with the ability to dig into details, make decisions quickly and stand up to challenges when necessary.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead the Global Product Managers responsible for Dissolution Testing workflows, instruments and Software and lead new product innovations and development projects
  • Work collaboratively with the broad LPSD commercial team (Marketing Management, Field Marketing and Sales) to drive commercial strategy and growth for the business.
  • Responsible for worldwide supply, demand and pricing for product portfolio; update and present forecasts regularly to management, finance, and manufacturing teams
  • Lead and leverage analyses of business and market trends to define customer requirements, competitive strategy, and business opportunities for increasing customer and business value
  • Manage the overall portfolio roadmap and lifecycle for new products or product extensions development and corresponding business cases as input to the annual Strategic Planning Process
  • Lead teams through new product development processes from concept through commercialization, including voice of customer, definition of customer and product requirements and value proposition, manage product launches and sales training to secure effective ramp-to-volume on new product introductions
  • Provide guidance to the team and offer quick prioritization of tasks and projects in order to stay effective and focused on delivering according to timelines in a busy environment
  • Present and represent the Dissolution Testing portfolio at key strategic conferences, customer-facing seminars and internal sales meetings
  • Be the ambassador of Dissolution Testing Product Marketing
