The Marketing Manager I/II works in concert with the Marketing Director and brand team to develop and execute strategic and tactical marketing plans which drive key marketing business initiatives.  This person is responsible for managing cross-functional teams in the development of advertising and promotion tactics and execution. This position requires the individual to foster positive working relationships to partner collaboratively with internal and external partners to execute plans.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage P2P strategy and execution for the launch of upadacitinib
  • Oversee all material development and review processes to ensure strategic alignment, timely deployment and financial transparency/accountability of suppliers
  • Support Regional Marketing team (Associate Director and Regional Marketing Managers) in their regional execution of marketing tactics
  • Support to broader HCP marketing team on speaker training, bureau management, congress execution, CI and EE engagement
  • Direct and manage projects including execution of marketing plans, initiatives and tasks.  Deliver high-quality work product in a timely fashion (meets deadlines). Ensure that regulatory and compliance guidelines are followed.  Must be adept at navigating the Medical and Regulatory process.
  • Utilize marketing skills to analyze and execute, including solidifying and growing franchise market position.
  • Make proposals and recommendations based on business direction, market dynamics and data.
  • Maintain awareness of relevant market dynamics and trends, and the application on the franchise and business plans.
  • Execute go-to-market plans.
  • Drive for results through the oversight of sales force execution via clear and concise communication and delivering impactful training initiatives.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Track record of effective execution and pull through, cross functional leadership, and positive results
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong planning and organization skills
  • Experience with data analysis
  • Pharmaceutical experience preferred

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree

 Background:

  •  3+ years of professional experience preferred
