You are responsible for:

  • Responsible for material buying to support new product introductions across multiple workstreams

  • Work with SAP ERP, leveraging tool to drive supplier deliveries while coordinating materials and change management

  • Optimize enterprise tools order to allow successful supply chain transfer at release to production

  • Review, administer and monitor purchase orders and delivery commitments for suppliers to support NPI project teams

  • Communicate schedules to stakeholders and resolve shortages within acceptable timelines

  • Be a flexible, influential and effective collaborator with the ability to build and develop new capabilities to improve Latham OMM data quality and process rigor

  • Define, develop, clearly and effectively communicate, implement, maintain, and champion Latham OMM Supply Master Data Management in SAP.

  • Develop and implement a periodic review of Latham OMM supply master data, ensuring data is current and accurate across functional workstreams in SAP.

  • Responsible for Latham OMM SAP master data policy and procedure development reviews/improvements and facilitating procedure updates with process owners.

  • Creates and publishes Latham OMM SAP master data metrics to evaluate overall plan/process effectiveness; accurately produce regular metrics reports on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis that drive positive results, get to root cause and roll up to OMM goals.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree (Business or Information Systems) or minimum 5 plus years’ experience in Supply Chain Management in a manufacturing or Supply Chain Management environment working with master data

  • 5 plus years' purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment with new product introduction project experience

  • 2 plus years’ experience leveraging SAP Master data for supply chain functions

  • CPSM, CPIM and/or PMP certifications recommended but not required

  • Experience using an SAP ERP for supply chain applications and master data attributes, enterprise tolls and strong excel skills

  • Must be analytical, strategic, pragmatic, quick thinking and possess a “big picture” mindset.

  • Capable of working across multiple departments or workstreams.

  • Ability to manage multiple, complex projects and changing priorities; make sound decisions under pressure and work effectively in a team environment.

  • Knowledge of Data Governance activities.

  • Exposure to a Data Strategy including architecting, design and implementation of Master Data Management (MDM) program.

  • Experience managing Master Data Management (MDM) attributes.

  • Excellent time management, organizational skills and written and verbal communication skills.

  • Attention to detail, fact-based, self-motivated and ability to work under pressure.

  • Lean/Six Sigma/Continuous Improvement knowledge a plus.
