- Track and manage tactical supplier execution for substrates and components in support of strategy driven by Sourcing team located in San Diego. - Monitor buffer and Inventory levels and execute to balance inventory levels. - Validate supplier reports and processes. -Manage Substrate and Component supply for indirect procurement within QTI's pass-through-price or consignment business model. -Suppopoint in managing demand pull-ins, demand upside, quality issues, and supplier stops. -Recommendation of materials purchases based on Demand, Supply, Qualified sourcing paths, and defined Supplier business strategy. -Validate system inputs and outputs to ensure data and planning integrity, collaborate with Sourcing Team to maintain accuracy of key product attributes. -Recommend, implement and track Qualcomm owned buffer at package, substrate or materials suppliers. -Drive strategy taking into consideration product life cycle, portfolio aggregation within mfg. process, raw materials commonality, demand scale and volatility. -Approve MOQ purchase requests and manage component transfers to balance inventories. -Responsible for managing the 12mo forecast, sent by direct buy source to Substrate suppliers and from Substrate suppliers to raw materials supplier. -Responsible for managing the 12mo forecast, sent by direct buy source to Substrate suppliers and from Substrate suppliers to raw materials supplier. -Analyse and consolidate reports sent directly to QTI for overall supply line loading and ability to maintain minimum lead times on demand and upsides. -Track and validate supplier reports in support of weekly and monthly processes. -Responsible for tracking supplier KPIs and ensuring suppliers adhere to reporting processes. -Attend regular meetings with cross functional teams for NPI to HVM transition. -Develop strong relationships with the QCT SAT Planners and drive continuous supplier performance improvement.

Materials planning experience, preferably in an Engineering environment and especially on commodities such as substrates or components.

Experience in MRP systems such as Oracle (Rapid Response system used) and constraint-based planning concepts.

Experience in reprioritizing suppliers to meet programmed deliverables.

Advanced Excel experience and effective data interpretation and analysis.

-Strong numerical and analytical skills. -High proficiency in large data handling and excellent attention to detail. -Robust process skills. -Strong organisational skills, with flexibility of understand and jointly manage a variety of projects. -Proficiency using: oOracle or similar ERP system oMicrosoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point) oMicrosoft Office Suite (Access/Project) oExperience with Agile software is a plus.

Required: Bachelor's, Business Administration or equivalent experience
Preferred: Master's, Business Administration or equivalent experience
