• Apprenticeship scheme with accredited company or graduate from Technical Institute
• At least 5 years’ experience in Mechanical maintenance works in process plant industry (chemical plant, oil & gas plant, wastewater treatment, shipyards, etc.)
• Familiar with all kinds of maintenance works on piping system & control valves
• Familiar with maintenance works on heavy machinery including decanter, thermal oil boiler, rotating equipment (pumps, fans, compressor), and wastewater equipment
• Skilled on oxyacetylene, MIG (metal inert gas) and TIG (tungsten inert gas) welding, and experience in rigging heavy equipment is an advantage

Responsibilities:
• Carry out planned and breakdown maintenance on a variety process plant equipment. Work together with the Electrical & Instrument technician to maintain plant operations, repair and troubleshooting jobs
• Conduct routine maintenance on rotary equipment like Oil Grease Decanter, Coarse Screen Filter, pumps, blowers, heat exchanger, thermal oil boiler and compressors
• All kinds of pump rectification works including pump disassembly, mechanical seals adjustment and alignment check
• Control valves disassembly, fitting and calibration
• Pipe leak rectification by welding
• Conduct routine inspection test on critical systems, building services & utilities
• Liaise with Operation staffs as appropriate
