Job Description

 

Major Tasks and Responsibility

 

• To update and maintain ABPI Code of Practice related SOPs and other Quality System Documents (QSDs) for the UK under the direction of the Head of Medical Governance.

• Creation and delivery of effective training and validations on the requirements and application of the ABPI Code of Practice and the Medical Governance department’s SOPs.

• To communicate with stakeholders throughout the business, providing project support for the Medical Governance department when there are changes to legislation and guidance, or code case rulings that could have an impact on Bayer pharma policies, processes.

• With the direction of the Head of Medical Governance, to conduct, or to oversee and project manage regular process checks for both Head Office and Field Force activities, identifying required corrective and preventative actions (CAPAs) and overseeing and documenting their completion.

• Collaborate with colleagues to provide expertise and advice regarding the ABPI Code of Practice and related Bayer SOPs/QSDs and to be a point of contact for enquiries.

 

Who you are?

 

  • UK degree level or equivalent qualification.
  • Detailed knowledge of the ABPI Code of Practice and MHRA guidelines for promotion of medicines desirable.
  • A minimum of one year’s experience of the pharmaceutical industry, or of working in a compliance or auditing role
  • Experienced in document writing and management with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident when delivering training and able to present to large groups.
