Methods Specialist Engineer Co-Op (Fall 2021)

Job Description

This is a Co-Op position which will require three alternating rotations (e.g.Spring, Fall, Summer) 

The Student Co-op will provide support in the root cause analysis of problems, tracking of part levels and reviewing measurement data.  The Co-op can expect to contribute in the organization of people as well as topic to achieve project results.  Main project responsibilities will include a specific problem as it relates to a product and the parts catalog.   

The qualified intern/Co-op should expect to contribute and improve in the in the following functions: 

  • Effective problem solving
  • CAD
  • Understanding of metrology (measurement)
  • Project management skills
  • Team Collaboration for effective solutions

  • Degree pursuit in Engineering – Mechanical or Industrial preferred
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Professional communication
  • Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major)
  • Have full-time status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States 
  • Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application
  • Able to complete 3 alternating work terms for Co-op positions 
  • Able to work full-time (40 hours / week)
  • Transfer students must have a GPA from current university 
  • Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term
