YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role, Manufacturing Apprenticeship Program for Soda Springs, are to: 

• Assist to a 55-week training program that will include basic training in workplace safety, job shadowing, course instruction in equipment operation and maintenance, to include welding, and on-the-job training;
• Complete the Manufacturing Apprenticeship Program for Soda Springs (MAPSS) program that has been designed to expose apprentices to the full breadth and depth of career opportunities at Bayer Soda Springs;
• Complete all aspects of the program and graduate from MAPSS;
• Offer regular, full-time employment as an OME at Bayer Soda Springs.

Required Qualifications:

• Possess a High School diploma or equivalent;
• Complete a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check;
• Be able to pass a high-school equivalency exam;
• Be willing and able to work 12-hour rotating shifts;
• Be able to lift 50 pounds.
