Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Cloud Advisory Consultant, you will have a pivotal role in helping our Clients with their digital transformation using Cloud, specifically leveraging Open Source Technologies. 

You will be sought as a Trusted Advisor helping clients achieve their business goals by guiding them on their Journey to the Cloud and the steps required along that Journey.

You will have a client facing leadership role, delivering value and building appropriate and effective business relationships in your area of domain or industry experience.  

You will work closely with our clients understanding their core business objectives and helping them accelerate their Cloud journey by supporting and enabling their transformation. Your role will be to both sell and deliver consulting engagements.

Some of the recent engagements our Consultants have led include:-

 - Facilitating Journey to Cloud workshops and providing clients with a Cloud Strategy Roadmap of next steps in their digital transformation
 - Assessing a client's existing IT estate and recommending cloud deployment options for their application portfolio
 - Supporting an existing Client as a Trusted Advisor and enabling them to improve and transform their existing Cloud Deployments.
 - Developing a Cloud Centre of Excellence enabling the Client to optimise their existing Cloud infrastructure.

Our Consultants are passionate about advising and supporting our Clients in their digital transformations.  They possess strong communication skills and are able to articulate the impact and business benefits of their proposed solutions.  They manage and support stakeholder expectations. and are deep subject matter expert.  

As a Cloud Advisory Consultant, you should have a broad knowledge of major cloud technologies and service providers including AWS, Azure and Google as well as virtualisation (e.g. VMware), Container platforms (Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker) and other Red Hat Open Source products.   You should have experience of guiding clients in their adoption of these platforms and technologies, prioritising complex requirements, and obtaining client buy-in to your recommendations and proposed solutions.  Such experience must include articulating technology options to clients and advising how to make strategic choices and decisions.  

This role can be based at any of our Nordic offices (Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway)

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Bachelor or Masters degree on computer science or similar disciplines
Proven track record on IT management consulting and hybrid cloud technologies
Proven track record on at least one of the following: transformation of IT departments, IT strategy, IT organisation and or IT service management
Longterm experience on acquisition of consulting projects and/or challenging IT projects
Interested on varying challenging projects with a lot of travelling
Excellent English and Swedish/Norwegian/Danish/Finnish
RedHat certifications

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

Additional certifications, e.g.  ITIL, publications, membership in associations etc., experience as a manager and/or team lead.
