About Role:

Lenovo is looking for an Occupational Health & Safety Specialist in TDC
(Taiwan Development Center) to manage site OHS activities including but not
limited to compliance with local laws, audit, inspection, training, strategy/
initiatives/ safety goals set up, and other OHS administrative actions.

Responsibility:

• Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) local laws and
regulations

• Implement regular site inspections, and establish safety audit policies to
ensure compliance with safety standards and government regulations.

• Follow up inspection findings and provide improvement reports

• Manage site OHS administration and initiatives

• Manage and organize OHS Committee to set up company workplace safety goals
aligned with company safety strategy

• Execute strategy to assure effective OHS programs to improve employee
working safety, reduce workplace risks, and promote safety culture

• Implement and maintain safety and health processes that proactively prevent
injury/ illness/ incident, and participate in safety Continuous Improvement
initiatives

• Investigate all near misses, injuries and other safety-related incidents in
a proper and timely manner

• Lead OHS internal training, provide new-employee health and safety
orientations, and conduct safety education programs for the use of safety
equipment

• Develop and implement occupational health and safety risk assessment and
prevention initiatives to eliminate occupational risks, injuries, illnesses
that from unsafe behavior and work environment

• Update Occupational injury & illness statistics and report in Government OHS
system per local law requirement

• Proper chemical management includes identifying risk, implement suitable
controls, and maintaining  hazardous materials/wastes inventories

Position Requirements:

Requirements:

• Taiwan Governmental Grade B Occupational Health & Safety Management
Specialist certified (乙級職業安全衛生管理員)

• Occupational health & safety management specialist (Grade A – preferred)

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering
or related field required

• Knowledge and experience in ISO45001 or OHSAS 18001 certification

• Knowledge and experience with Taiwan OHS legislation, regulations, protocols
and standards required

• Working Safety procedure and electrical safety experience

• Minimum +5 years working experience preferably in IT industry

• Must be self-motivated, well-organized, and have strong interpersonal and
communication skills
