Our Operations Representative role is a unique and exciting role with Bank of America for those who don’t want to be chained to a desk and prefer the hustle and bustle of working in a warehouse environment!  Do you also have mortgage experience?  Then we want to speak with YOU!
The Operations Representative will be responsible for processing transactions in one or more of the company's internal operations to support domestic and international consumer, commercial and wholesale bank businesses or services functions.
Responsibilities may include: basic level reporting, call center support, reviewing and processing transactions for item processing, sorting using electronic or mechanical equipment, reconciling, statement rendering, MICR/image, float, lock box, remittance, ATM deposit, and performing other support operations functions as required.

This is a production driven environment, Reviewer will review trailing documents and collateral files to verify the integrity of them in our system. 80% of incoming volume validation completed daily on collateral files/day depending on applicable reviews.     The Reviewer will be assigned review/certification related tasks such as agency requirements along with new intake items/procedural updates.  The Reviewer will generate and validate reporting, oversees big projects, and monitors production. 

Additionally the Reviewer will sort, scan and file papers with personal information on completed loan documents; ability to work with confidential, highly sensitive information. Reviewer will sort collateral files/documents received, scan barcodes on collateral files with hand-held scanner and file collateral/paperwork in appropriately. Reviewers will be filing numerically.

Additional responsibilities include that our successful Operations Representative:

  • Maintains internal operational and financial controls and ensures they meet bank standards.
  • Ensures quality service and effective and efficient operations support for the assigned area's internal business partners and/or external customers/clients.
  • Intermediate level position performs routine and various item processing functions under moderate supervision within a process that has built-in checks and balances.
  • Decisions have some impact on internal and external customer relationship.
    Required skills:
  • Strong analytical/problem solving skills

  • Detail Oriented/strong organizational skills 
  • General PC skills, Windows, Microsoft Office, 10 Key
  • Able to lift up to 30lbs
    Desired skills:
  • Mortgage related experience with emphasis on mortgage document identification.
  • Collateral Safekeeping knowledge
  • LINX, AS400, emBTRUST system knowledge
