Job Description

The Coupa Programme is global transformation programme to enable AstraZeneca to improve our purchase to pay process for our indirect spend. We are implementing Coupa to accelerate our P2P processes, make better spend decisions, save money, standardize processes and have one single, global platform. Master Data & Design Workstreams play crucial role in ensuring successful change management and system design for the programme throughout effective communication and engagement with internal (Global Process Owners, SAP Architects, Master Data) and external (Suppliers, Coupa, KPMG) stakeholders.

In this internship you will be exposed to a variety of in-stream activities like driving standardization across different P2P processes, internal and external training preparation, building testing scenarios, purchasing & invoicing channels end to end testing, data analytics, system configuration. You will get a chance to build your AZ network through cooperation with a various stakeholders in AZ globally (R&D, Finance, Procurement, IT, Suppliers). The position offers a unique insight into implementation of a leading, cloud-base procurement platform. The intern with work directly with our dedicated programme team for a couple of months when every day brings new challenges and new opportunities to learn. The intern will be able to gain and demonstrate project management, communication, presentation, data analytics skills while deepening understanding of biopharmaceutical industry. We have a diverse environment and dedicated people that enjoy sharing their knowledge.

Candidate must be a current student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher (preferable fields: Finance & Accounting, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Economics, Business Intelligence, Big Data, Project Management) who has excelled all aspects of their university experience as demonstrated by the results of their coursework, projects and other collegiate activities. We are looking also for a student who is a creative, curious, dynamic and open minded person. You must possess natural curiosity to solve problems, be cooperative and energized by tough challenges. We would expect you to demonstrate strong analytical skills, entrepreneurial thinking and general knowledge of Microsoft Office with good knowledge of Excel. As the programme team members are located across the global English language skills on medium level is a must have to cooperate with other project members. . Depending on your background, you may be tasked with deliverables related to testing scenarios execution, data analytics, data modelling, supporting training design and delivery, supporting process documentation or supporting system solution building and testing.
