Job Description
THE COMPANY :
- Member of China state-owned enterprise
- Frozen food and frozen meat importer & distributor
- Food imported from US, NZ, UK, Canada and Spain for HK, Macau & China market
- Hong Kong office : 300 staff
- Food processing plant : Hong Kong
- We are looking for PURCHASING OFFICER (non-food team) - with details as follows :
THE JOB :
- Responsible for non-food products sourcing
- Liaise with suppliers on product sourcing, pricing and terms negotiation
- Negotiate with suppliers for the best price and quality
- Work with our costing team for material cost calculation
- Follow up the orders, lead time and delivery schedule
- Maintain purchasing records, master price list and inventory control
- Assist in budget control and cost saving for processing department
- Form 5 or above
- Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing for materials (e.g. food packaging) and office supplies.
- Good negotiation skill
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Experience in food production industry is an advantage
- 5 days work
- Office location : Kwai Chung
