Job Description

At AstraZeneca, we make a difference by delivering life-changing medicines to millions of people globally. We lead breakthrough science that promises to transform the treatment of disease. You may not feel you're at the front-line of research but your role in changing patients' lives is critical.

Our purpose is ambitious and so is our approach. Becoming a more agile and creative company means building a dynamic, inspiring culture where we celebrate diverse, bold thinking. We are curious, creative and open to new ideas and ways of working, and it takes the skills of a collaborative team to really deliver on what science can do. Join us and become part of an exceptional place to work!

Our global headquarters moved to Cambridge in 2016 and we are continuously improving our facilities across the Cambridge Campus. Having just opened an additional office, the next phase of our journey is focussed on our new R&D facility in the centre of the Cambridge Biomedical Campus (CBC) which will be an open, welcoming and vibrant centre that will inspire our team and our partners to push the boundaries of scientific innovation.

As the People Data Coordinator, you will form an integral part of our local team, responsible for a range of administrative and project-oriented tasks in relation to our People Transition programme.

What will your day-to-day look like?

  • Control and maintain people move databases for employee moves across AstraZeneca sites in Cambridge
  • Support move project planning and delivery, such as orientation events and creation of engagement materials
  • Complete monthly dashboard reports and ad-hoc people data requests to support wider Transition / Facilities Management space planning
  • Deliver administrative processes for AstraZeneca's MyMove people engagement web-application for project teams
  • Handle employee queries received in MyMove mailbox, responding and escalating in line within SLAs
  • Analyse and draft reports from various People systems to support high-level move progress reporting for key stakeholders
  • Update and post communication materials in the MyMove web-application and internal Workplace pages, enhancing employee engagement during their transition
  • Carry out additional project activities as required

What skills are we looking for?

  • Strong administrative experience; a background in HR desired but not essential
  • Ability to work collaboratively and flexibly with multiple project teams
  • Excellent numeric, written and spoken communication skills
  • Proven experience in Excel and PowerPoint reporting
  • Resilience to handle queries autonomously
  • Confidence to deliver within established guidelines and policies

This role is based in Granta Park, but we ask that you are flexible to travel to and work from other Cambridge sites as necessary.
