Position Description: The performance benchmark engineer for server virtualization will work with a global performance benchmarking team located in (3) different lab around the world. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and work well with colleagues locally and worldwide. The success candidate will have applied knowledge and have mastered many if not all the skills and knowledge listed: 1\. Candidate will possess an applied / mastered knowledge with VMware, KVMs, Citrix, and Windows Hyper-V products – where candidate is familiar with both enabling virtualization product on server and performing debug and analysis of issues encountered. 2\. Candidate will be expected to engage and work with OS vendor during early design and implementation, e.g. OS feature discussion, future requirements, early build verification and bug fix, etc.. 3\. Candidate will possess a deep understand OS virtualization features – which will aid in identifying any impacts to server development and help to drive across functional support for features / functions. i.e. Security feature, etc. 4\. Candidate will understand Cloud OS’s and solutions and a proven ability to apply Cloud solution specifics to fulfill a customers' requirements. 5\. Candidate will have experience with technical writing e.g. the ability to write technical white paper/s to help explain and promote features / functions. 6\. Candidate will be expected to provide support to field issues where there are virtualization questions /concerns 7\. Candidate will be expected to participation technology innovation and potential patent activities. #### Position Requirements: 1\. Minimum of 5 years’ experience on Virtualization OS development or solution. 2\. Familiar with Server Architecture is Required. 3\. Strong analytical ability and debugging skills. 4\. Ability to work with third parties. 5\. Ability to multi-task and work with multiple functional teams 6\. Good communication skill – e.g. English (verbal and written). 7\. Highly self-motivated person able to drive projects forward. 8\. Prior performance, hardware, and/or development experience a Plus. 9\. Excellent problem solving skills.
