Job Description

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The primary responsibilities of this role, Planning Optimization Analyst, are to: 

 

  • Drive consistencies in planning processes expanding to all indications, crops and all handoffs by creating documents to identify dates and deadlines to drive operations and decisions;
  • Facilitate and conduct office hours to conduct efficient planning conversations;
  • Optimize field testing and logistics coordination to create a more efficient process;
  • Deliver pipeline tracking and forensics to identify gaps, causes and improvement opportunities;
  • Support PLAYBOOK concept development expanding to all indications and crops by coordinating across various global partners to capture metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for stage gate promotions capturing the operational plan matching the decision-making matrix;
  • Support the tool development to view the longer-range resource plan;
  • Support the automation of decision-making process in near future;
  • Support process improvement related activities for opportunities identified in other areas of field solutions technology;
  • Conduct small-scale discovery projects to try out new ideas and new ways of working.

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Ph.D. with at least four years of relevant experience in science, logistics, analytics, change management, project management, and process improvement; OR
  • Master’s degree with at least eight years of relevant experience in science, logistics, analytics, change management, project management, and process improvement; OR
  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 10 years of relevant experience in science, logistics, analytics, change management, project management, and process improvement;
  • Ability to conduct research and contribute to research projects, technologies, publications, intellectual property, or trade secrets;

  • Excellent communication and influential leadership skills;
  • Visionary mindset and ability to think creatively and act strategically;
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing environments and ambiguous situations;
  • High ability to solve problems and to structure and simplify complex tasks;
  • Sound agricultural knowledge of crops and international crop cultivation;
  • Strong scientific methods of working, optimization and innovation mindset, outside-the-box attitude and positive thinking;
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and contribute in an international and dynamic research and development team;
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written.

 

 

Domestic relocation may be offered for this position.
