This position will be responsible for supporting Practical Process Improvement (PPI) site initiatives; lean manufacturing and continuous improvement projects.Site training on SAP will be provided as needed to enable manufacturing support, new enhancement to the system and data collection/reporting to support key initiatives and site KPI’s. Demonstrated experience working with local IT on projects and issues. The candidate will serve as a liaison between Operations and IT on issues and/or projects.

Demonstrated leadership qualities is a plus. 

Candidate should have a good understanding of Root Cause Countermeasures, 5S, Kanban and Kaizen. Will be expected to take company provided classes to enhance knowledge and use of these tools.Demonstrated experience on creation of documentation to support process improvements.

Support the development and daily update of our manufacturing Daily Tier 1-4 boards

Execution and distribution of daily reporting to Management. Provide reports to support manufacturing, sales order fulfillment and purchasing.

Experience with integrating tools such as Power BI to provide improved reporting techniques.

Experience with setting up a server-based repository to improve data collection and reporting
