Responsible for providing application development and support services to meet AIA's business needs

The Role

You will be responsible for maintaining an exceptional customer experience by providing superior support to our intermediaries, ensuring any system issues are resolved in a timely manner

The role has no direct reports

About the role:

This position includes frequent interaction with system vendors, technology specialist within AIA technology and colleagues within Partnership Insurance to ensure intermediaries receive consistent experiences and support.

Some responsibilities include:

  • Technology specialist for all AIA intermediary related technologies, including but not limited to Xplan, AIAHub and Sovlink.

  • Vendor relationship management with 3rd party technology vendors as required, including troubleshooting, data transfer management and system maintenance with site upgrades and testing.

  • Liaise closely with Practice Development Manager and team to deliver the Xplan Roadmap.

  • Develop Xplan and supporting technologies to ensure robustness of the AIA FAP, including building reporting capabilities to ensure Risk management.

  • Second tier support to the Adviser Technical Support Specialist.

  • Execution of complex projects to quality, cost, schedule and performance expectations.

  • Lead cross-functional project teams in the identification, assessment, development and validation of improvement opportunities.

  • Champion system upgrades to enhance AIA leads systems.

About You:

  • 3 – 5 years Experience with Xplan and other database or administration systems

  • Experience working with adviser businesses.

  • Ability to collect, analyse and interpret both qualitative and quantitative data

  • Ability to utilize management and planning tools

  • A sound understanding of technology and proven skills with applications, system functionality and data

  • Superior relationship management experience, with a proven ability to develop good relationships at all levels internally and externally.
