About The Role:

 

This position serves as Testing Project Manager who closely work with the testing team at RWS. Testing Project Manager is responsible for managing testing projects from start to end, including client communication, coordination of the work among testing team and linguists, managing workflows, processes, and tools. The role also involves being in charge of implementing solutions to clients that result in excellent customer satisfaction, retention and revenue growth as well as financial activities such as client estimates/invoicing, internal budget, and forecast submission.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Manages all facets of the project start to end, including more complex factors (e.g., multiple components, complex requirements, stakeholder maps, multi-program/large portfolio accounts)
  • Performs overall account management responsibilities such as acting as the main contact for the customer and ensures all aspects of the project are meeting agreed objectives
  • Leads project teams in executing project deliverables, resolving issues and handling customer relations
  • Independently resolves most issues and/or quickly escalates to the appropriate person to seek assistance
  • Identifies technology and service opportunities that lead to new revenue streams and/or improved efficiency.
  • Identifies opportunities for improvement and potential solutions, especially across broad and complex processes that have a significant impact on customer satisfaction and potential revenue streams.
  • Helps to develop project and account management expertise within the Project Management Office by coaching and mentoring others and providing performance feedback.
  • Builds trust and confidence that leads to customer advocacy and sales opportunities by delivering exceptional results
  • Partners and collaborates with internal organizations to ensure effective communication and coordination of activities.
  • Keep project admin records up-to-date and accurate at all times
  • Exercise sound judgment in keeping supervisor informed of potential risks and difficulties
  • Inform supervisor of all issues affecting cost, quality and turn-around time

 

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7-12 years of previous project management experience in localization services or related field
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA, BS) or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Clear sense of accountability and good customer and communication skills
  • Can balance workload among the team members
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications
  • Experience with bug tracking tools
  • Knowledge of functional/linguistic testing process is a plus
