Responsible for conceiving, developing, implementing, supporting, and enhancing life, health, and wellness insurance schemes and products for non-traditional channels of BPI-Philam and its partners (e.g. Direct Marketing, Corporate Solutions and the like).

Ensures the successful launch of competitive, profitable and sustainable products catering to the specific markets aimed to be tapped by BPI-Philam and its partners via the non-traditional channels.

• Prepares product specifications, competitive studies, gate papers and other documentation relevant to secure internal product approval, e.g. Product Development Committee approval and Product Operational Risk Acceptance.
• Ensures alignment of product design to guidelines on online suitability, customer need and value to stakeholders.
• Collaborates with all key stakeholders (Philam Life, AIA region, bank partners, third-party vendors, segments and regulators) to enable roll out of products.
• Provides supporting documents for external approvals, including but not limited to bank partners’ approval process, Insurance Commission, Bancassurance Working Committee, and Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, as well as delivery of Day 2 or After Sales requirements.
• Manages and ensures completion of product testing as may be required; monitor system installation in coordination with IT, Operations and relevant stakeholders.
• Co-authors training and marketing collaterals, in collaboration with Product Communications Strategy in support of product roll-out to sales teams and external clients.
• Monitors performance of launched products for the first 12 months, through report generation and analysis of product strategy, and ensures that set sales targets or persistency rates are attained through customer marketing efforts in collaboration with Customer Experience campaigns team.
• Ensures that launched products support the company’s VoNB requirements.
• Manage and train team members in support of product development efforts.
• Drives personal development through realization of Development Action Plan.
