Position Description: • Responsible for overall shop floor management , Production and  control. •Directly responsible for following KPI's      Unites per People per Hour (UPPH)      Operational Efficiency/Thru-put/Serviciability      Equipment Utilization/Maintenance      Scrap and inventory control      WIP aging and cycle counting. . • Design and re-engineering current manufacturing system / processes, Methods to improve productivity and cost effectiveness • Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, • Undertake continuous training and development for team. • Supervise and motivate a team of workers. • Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems •  Support and lead process improvement activities. • Contribute to continuous improvement activities through Lean and best practices implementation. • Quality control of work by appropriate reviews • Investigate production and process issues providing technical support and training • Support and lead continuous improvement, problem solving and process improvement activities • Process documentation and implement improvements. • Ensure all product, system and Quality requirements are taken into account from the initial product conception to the finished result •To implement and ensure compliance for shop floor workforce , Quality Management System (ISO9001) & Environmental Management System (ISO 14001) #### Position Requirements: B.E./ B. Tech (or) higher in Electronics / Mechanical Engineering . Work Experience: 7-10 Years of experience as a Production Engineer or Sr. Production Engineer 1\. Strong problem-solving skills and logical approach 2\. Lean Manufacturing and WCM practices. 3\. Good understanding of customer expectations and deliverables with an awareness of the impact   of failure /cost of poor quality. 4\.
