Job Description

The PS Business Operations Analyst is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the operational support within the EMEA Professional Services organization. The Bus Ops Analyst serves a critical role as a trusted business advisor to Professional Services Sales and Delivery. In this capacity, they are accountable for championing and ensuring implementation of key operational organization initiatives for their assigned region(s) and providing visibility into the business performance to the regional teams to enable them to successfully meet their financial commitments to the company.


Responsibilities


Work closely with Sales team to provide support with statement of work and sales process.

Work closely with PS Project Management to provide support with engagements of all types. Provide analysis to Delivery Management as to health of engagements and business. Monitor “At-Risk” engagements.

Maintain and strengthen Shared Services’ (off-shore) team relationship by providing just in time support to ensure engagements book and close in a timely fashion, accurate project set-up, invoicing and time entry.


Attend weekly regional forecast call/s and provide accurate week over week variances, forecast insight, ensure forecast methodology is adhered to and rolled-up in a timely fashion.

Drive diligence around margin tracking, ongoing project analysis, unbilled revenue and de-book cadence.

Provide regular updates to regional stakeholders as it relates to redemption and potential extension of credits.

Support the regional Business Operations Manager to proactively analyse trends and patterns in operational data to determine potential issues and ramifications to the business. Provide project analysis and recommendations to field management as a business partner.

Provide onboarding support to new regional team members and assimilation into operational processes and procedures.

Provide suggestions for improvement to the Operations management team on overall operational processes and policies to facilitate an environment of continuous improvement.

Spearhead special projects on behalf of Operations that may include, but are not limited to, systems testing, rewriting process, process improvement and acquisitions.

Requirements

- BS/BA degree preferable
- 5 years related experience working in an operations capacity, preferably in a services environment
- Self-starter who is willing and able to take initiative
- Detail-oriented
- Strong organizational/project management skills
- Strong reporting and analysis
- Strong understanding of forecast methodology; ability to manage and own quarterly target
- Strong understand of revenue recognition practices, GAAP, etc.
- Good eye and ability to roll-out process improvement
- Experience working with off-shore teams
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with peers and upper management
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
- Solid customer service experience in a professional corporate environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Quick learner and team player
