THE ROLE:

We are looking for an 8+ years experienced Program Manager with a strong background of technical knowledge of laptop products and program management skills. This individual will be responsible for end-to-end program mgmt. and execution of design projects, and working in close coordination with internal teams as well as external customers.

 

THE PERSON:

The applicant must be a team player with a commitment to meet deadlines and an aptitude to thrive in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment. The position is based in our Hefei office.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

•  Primary support contact in development and sustaining customer programs
• Develop customer-specific solutions with full product cycle technical support, feasibility verification and project mgmt. throughout the entire development process
• Align with cross-functional teams on customer engagement, with emphasis on driving technical enablement/communications, technical support, and debug/issue resolution
• Coordinate on-time delivery of all engineering project deliverables into customer development projects
• Provide detailed level engineering schedules, resource requirement, and status reporting for customer OEM/ODM projects from design inception to mass production
• Identify program risks and develop mitigation plans
• Manage customer critical issues and escalations 
• Manage customer sampling requirements in development
• Drive for highest levels of customer satisfaction

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• BS, or higher, in Engineering (Computer or Electrical) strongly preferred
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skill is a must
• PMP certification a plus, but not required
