Job Description

How will you make an impact?

The Data Analyst, Program Manager is responsible for supporting the execution of R&D operational and strategic initiatives of Asia Pacific (APAC) R&D organization. This role covers a broad range of activities necessary to drive efficiency, visibility and alignment throughout the region and globally. This individual will partner with a broad network of regional R&D and program and portfolio management leadership team, as well as business partners.

Office hours: Mon-Fri, 8am-515pm
Location: Marsiling, Singapore (8-10 mins walk from Woodlands MRT / bus interchange) 
Reporting to: Senior Manager, Program Management

 

What will you do?

  • Lead reporting and management of dashboards and views that offer insight into the region performance, including R&D portfolio, quarterly business review, and financial analysis using Microsoft Power BI to drive business decisions
  • Responsible for day-to-day administration of the Program and Portfolio Management (PPM) tool. Provide PPM system expertise to support users in troubleshooting requests and training. Improve approaches and workflows driving productivity and efficiency, while ensuring data integrity
  • Maintain running of R&D operations spanning across 3 sites; interface effectively with each site leadership to achieve results
  • Support planning and implementation of new strategic initiatives, including deployment of tools, processes, and best practice methodologies to create a standardized, structured framework, enabling optimized and streamlined APAC R&D operations
  • Manage coordination and execution of internal events, post-meeting follow-ups and accountability
  • Lead project initiatives of varying size, scope, complexity, as directed
  • Form and maintain productive and positive working relationship with staff of varying technical and business background across the organization

How will you get here?
Education/Experience:

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, operations or business-related fields of study
  • At least 3 years' track record working on data analytics project(s)
  • Prior working experience in a R&D environment preferred, not a must
  • Strong process excellence, data analytics, program and stakeholder management skills. Demonstrate ability to lead through influence across diverse audiences and geographic locations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Experience using advanced reporting tools such as Power BI and Program and Portfolio Management Solution such as Planview PPM Pro is a plus

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interpret and summarize analytical results in clear, concise and accurate manner

Working Conditions:

  • Works in an office environment with <20% travel required (mostly within APAC)
