How will you make an impact?
The IT Project Manager oversees the initiation, development and execution of assigned projects within the European region.  Projects will include technology rollouts and upgrades, cloud migrations, acquisition integrations, application and ERP rollouts and upgrades, and new facility build outs. The IT Project Manager will report to the IT Project Management Office and will leverage in-depth project management and leadership skills to help drive the successful completion of projects on time, within budget and with quality.
What will you do?

  • Manage the end to end lifecycle of projects following the structured IT project management framework for both Waterfall and Agile methodologies ensuring that the project's full scope is completed on-time, on-budget and with quality
  • Plan, coordinate and direct all activities associated with creating and maintaining project plans and project deliverables
  • Leverage experience with Agile, Scrum and waterfall methodologies as appropriate to lead project teams on a daily basis for the successful delivery of IT projects
  • Manage the end to end PMO work effort, leveraging project management best practices and change management techniques
  • Actively assess risks and provide mitigation strategies or contingency plans
  • Coordinate with vendors and external project managers to ensure proper communication flow, adherence to budget and timelines
  • Build and maintain relationships with business leaders in the capacity of a trusted advisor
  • Create/document and communicate process flows and changes in a manner that transcends all levels of the organization
 
How will you get here?
  • 3-4+ years' experience managing large IT projects and technical infrastructure project experience such as networks, telephones, IT facility build outs
  • Prince 2/PMP Certification (Preferred)
  • CSM/CSP or PSM Certification with thorough understanding of Scrum Agile methodologies (Preferred)
  • Experience with a PPM tool such as HP/Microfocus PPM, PPM Pro, Clarity
  • Proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project, Visio, JIRA, Confluence

  • Must be highly motivated individual with a high level of initiative and an attitude of willingness
  • Must be a team player willing to assist others at all levels of the organization
  • Have the ability to provide superior customer service and maintain cooperative working relationships
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and work autonomously or with a team
  • Ability to exercise strict confidentiality
  • Develop cross functional relationships across the organization to drive efficiency in the project approval and execution
  • Proven experience of executive-level reporting and presentations
  • Up to 20% of travel may be required occasionally
