Job Description

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The primary responsibilities of this role, Protein Scientist I, are to:

 

  • Design, conduct, trouble shoot and interpret GLP-compliant experiments for producing, characterizing, and formulating protein reagents for biotech safety assessment, and generating data for dossier preparation;
  • Interact with team members and scientists from other projects and functional teams;
  • Effectively communicate research findings;
  • Prepare data documentation, study reports, and characterization records ensuring QMS, GLP, and GRR compliance;
  • Keep current with scientific literature on molecular/biochemistry techniques and new technologies;
  • Play a key role in digital transformation, and actively contribute to the improvement of data generation.

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Ph.D. with molecular biology/protein biochemistry experience; OR
  • Master of Science with a minimum of two years relevant experience; OR
  • Bachelor of Science with a minimum of five years of relevant experience;
  • Deep understanding of protein purification principles and design;
  • Ability to keep abreast of new science and technological developments, and exploit them to continuously improve functional area capabilities;
  • Team player who can foster a team based approach to research.
