Responsibilities

• To assist the Occupational and Food Safety Manager to oversee the Food & Occupational Safety procedures and standards in the workplace in according to Food Safety Management System (ISO22000:2018) and implementing policies as directed by the management to ensure the conformity with the company requirements and standards
• Facilitate investigation and inspection in related to all Food Safety and Occupational Safety incidents, identify preventive measures and prepare reports of findings with recommendations to the management.
• Establish and maintain corrective action plans and follow up to ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
• Monitor the food safety and quality standard of vendors and conducts
• Inspection the sanitary condition of the factory and supervise pest control
• Product quality check in accordance with specified sampling plan and ISO 22000 guidelines
• Identify critical points in the manufacturing process and specify sampling procedures to be used at these points.
• Manage / coordinate / control quality assurance systems for external and internal audit according to company and regulation standards on any issues that related to food safety and product quality
• Responsible for lab testing and calibrations of equipment
• To assist in formulating and review Occupational Safety standards, procedures and conduct training programs
• Working with operating staff to establish procedures, standards, systems and procedures
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• A bachelor degree in food science or Food Technology
• Professional knowledge on ISO 22000:2018 and HACCP is a must
• At least 3 years relevant experience in food manufacturing is required
• Sound PC knowledge including MS Word, Excel and Chinese Word Processing;
• Good Command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin is an advantage)
• Effective communication in influencing skill, ability to communicate at all levels of company
• Mature, self-confident, responsible, initiative, can work under pressure and independently
• Passionate in Social Service
